Journies and Destinations-and-Tattoo Features!

Journal Entry: Wed Sep 30, 2009, 6:23 AM

Hello my freaky darlings!!

How are you all doing today? hope you and yours are all well indeed.

Things have been a little mundane on the homefront here in NNY, and I really haven't produced much in the way of artwork. I've got one thing uncolored on the horizon, but haven't been able to rev up the gumption to DO anything to it. Cripes, come to notice it- i've miss like the last three kirbans too O.o...why haven't you people smacked me??

I HAVE been writing prolificly, however. My first pot-boiler (a romance) is nearing completion. I'm actually quite proud of it, and am hoping that once submitted to Harlequin (or to a list of other publishers) it will go into print. I flatter myself with positive thinking of course

In dA news:
Sadly, my subscription runs out at the end of next week. I haven't the funds (lots of you know how that goes) to get another one for a while yet. BUT i will still log in and be happy with what i do have :)

I've just had the very great fortune of devwatching :iconwilliamwebb: . For those of you who do NOT know, he is an extremely popular tattoo flash designer (as well as an accomplished tattoo artist), and his work hangs on the walls of THOUSANDS of shops around the world. I myself have done many of his pieces, and was super exicted (like damp fangirl panties excited) to see him on dA. He's only been here a week, so be a pal and go over and say hello!
I know he'll be a fantastic addition to the community :D

Moving on to the real world side of things:
In 9 days, I'll be off on a two week holiday on a cruise through the Mediterranian Sea with ports of call in Istanbul, Turkey, Alexandria, Egypt (a side excursion to Cairo and Giza- yes the pyramids) and the Greek isles inbetween, ending up in Athens.

I'm very excited and freaking out at the same time. This will be the first time I have been this far away from and the longest I have ever been separated from my babies. Ever. Fortunately, my mother in law is going to be coming in and taking things over. The kids will love having her around.

Yes, I'll be going solo. No kids. No husband. Just my mother and my sister, off to see the world :).

I'll STFU now, since the last time I said anything about this trip I had to dodge table lamps.

So, with that said- now- FEATURES!! In honor of Mr. Webb's entrance to the fold, i thought we'd do some tattoo features this go 'round :) (and i mean ACTUAL tattoos. We'll save the designs for another issue)

love to you all my blossoms :blowkiss:

How are you these days?!
:iconlilmoongodess:
I'm good thanks  Getting ready to go on an adventure - on a ship!! :D well, not as cool a ship as that one in the tattoo--more like a floating city ship :D

How're you doing peaches??
