Hello my freaky darlings!

Not much going on here in my world...I got a haircut and color change. Had a great past weekend, and am looking into buying one of those "mini" laptops.

In art news, my intended project on the Nine Muses has hit a brick wall... i've finished three sketches, and now have not been able to get any further. Partly because my 2 year old son has now decided that he does NOT want anymore afternoon naps- which seriously reduces my own personal free time (i.e. I have none now). So, I'm doing my best with that.

In life news, my wonderful mother in law has agreed to come up in October of this year to stay with my kids while I go on the trip of a lifetime! For those of you who don't know, I'll be spending two weeks on a cruise ship, touring the Greek Islands, Istanbul and Egypt. *fangirlssqueelhere* Yus! that means I'll be seing the Oracle at Delhi, The Acropolis, The Blue Mosque, and the Pyramids at Giza, and Alexandria itself!!!

Beyond thrilled. I have to renew my passport too, come to think of it- it expired two months ago.
Anyone know where I can get one of those neat countdown things to put up on my homepage?

So, yeah, that's pretty much it. I'm trying to figure out what to make for dinner tonight with my parents. Going to the squall-mart to get a few things- i'll decide there.
